40 blogs, 5,129 posts: where they come from and how they are read.
Feeds, read daily
Every day at 12:15 UTC the site requests each blog's own RSS or Atom feed, once, and adds the posts it has not seen. Two blogs publish no feed (Anthropic Engineering and Anthropic Research); for those it reads the listing page and keeps only entries that show a title, a link and a printed date. No model reads anything and nothing is guessed: a post without a date in its feed is skipped.
What is kept
The title, the date, the link and at most 240 characters of the summary the blog itself publishes in its feed. Never the post, never its images. Every row links to the original on the company's site.
Topics
Fixed keyword rules over the title (counted three times), the feed's own categories (twice) and the summary. The best score is the post's topic; close runners-up become tags. A post nothing matches is filed under product and company news.
Cadence and status
Cadence is posts a month over the last six months, or over the days the feed covers when it holds less history than that (a feed that only lists its latest ten posts). Active: posted in the last 60 days. Quiet: last post 60 to 180 days ago. Dormant: nothing for 180 days or more.
History
Nothing is overwritten quietly. When a blog's feed or address changes, a feed breaks or recovers, a blog's status or cadence band changes, or a post is retitled, a row is added to the change log. Posts that drop out of a feed stay. Each Tuesday a snapshot of every blog's numbers is kept.

Company names and slugs follow the shared registry at companies.fru.dev; blog pages link to the company's profile and to the same company on sibling fru.dev sites.
